Community and business interpreting
Our interpreters work in various situations where they are needed. Assignments vary from offices to hospitals and from farms to colleges. An interpreter’s day of work might include situations from an individual client’s doctor’s appointment to a seminar with hundreds of clients. A single assignment may last from just minutes to several days.
Over-the-phone –interpreting
When a client needs to call on an errand by phone, the easiest way to do this is over-the-phone –interpreting. This means that the client using sign language can sign her message and the interpreter will speak it on the phone.
Distance interpreting
Distance interpreting is over-the-phone –interpreting with the aid of a webcam. The main point in this form of interpreting is the client’s possibility to use her own language.
